Stratford's Javier Colon takes aim at 'The Voice' finals

First of all, hats off to America for picking Javier Colon -- he was easily the best performer of the entire show last week, and is probably the most seasoned performer on the entire show.
Adam picked Casey, and with that we have a shocker -- a final eight contestants without country music being really represented at all.
Just hours after his performance Colon was back on the practice stage, preparing for Wednesday night's live show.
Colon's fans don't have much time to throw him their support and help him reach the show's final four. Colon, a member of Maroon Five vocalist Adam Levine's team, is competing against Casey Weston. Country star Blake Shelton said that he was angry he wasn't able to catch Colon's hat, since it will be worth a lot of money before telling Colon.
Aguilera said that Colon was "again, as always, amazing." Cee Lo Green told Colon that "you impress me every time. Colon's coach, Levine, said "You are the real deal. Before his performance, Colon and Levine were shown rehearsing and talking about Colon's musical career.
Colon, 34, signed a record deal with the major label Capitol Records in 2002 and released two albums, the second of which flopped and nearly ended his career. "With the record deal, I always had my guard up," Colon said on Tuesday night. Each purchase registers as a vote for Colon.
Beverly McClellan was up first. Her song was B.B. King’s The Thrill is Gone. Beverly upset me the last time she performed. Next up was Javier Colon. His song choice? Fix you by Cold Play. The ultimate test was whether Javier could sing such a popular song in a unique way while still holding true to the song. His performance was perfect. Just an amazing amazing performance.
One of my favorites, no… wait… I will say it, my FAVORITE performer Xenia was up next. It sounded SO good. Vicci Martinez has been wowing the crowd since day one. She’s got so much power in her voice and The Dog Days of Summer was the most perfect song for her voice and for her life story. When Vicci was a child, her father, a plumber wanted to be a singer. Great person to watch!
Was it Beverly McClellan, Javier Colon, Xenia or Vicci Martinez?

Then, it came down to Cee Lo, who thankfully made the right choice in keeping Nakia around. Team Adam Levine
